The Lively Stone International Christian Church is a family of believers in the deity of JESUS CHRIST, who are dedicated to Whole-Person Ministry that is empowered by the HOLY SPIRIT, and emboldened by the blessings of the LORD.

We are a diverse group of seekers who strive to manifest the Oneness of the body of CHRIST. Witnessing to His Love, Power, and Life-Changing Word are the first order of business.

Because we know that Faith in GOD is a pre-requisite for reaping the bounty of blessings He bestows (not the least of which is eternal life), and, that Faith comes by Hearing......Delivering the Word of GOD is our top priority. We accomplish this through oral, print, and audio-visual mediums.

We believe that Love draws others; that Love is the glue that binds hearts together; that it nourishes to assure growth. So we commit to demonstrating the Love of GOD and allowing it to flow through us.

We try to meet not only Spiritual needs, but our ministries address physical needs such as food, and clothing; and we provide instruction, counseling, referrals, recreational and social outlets, too.

Because CHRIST invites us to come as we are, we open our arms to people of every nationality, race, and tongue. A very warm Welcome awaits you.

Faith

 Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness. 

Scripture

We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives. 

 Community

Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God. 

 Our History

The Lively Stone Church was born in 1986 as a result of God's instructions to the Pastor and founder, Pastor Ronald David Smith. The church he envisioned had Christ as its Head, Evangelism as its goal, Truth as its foundation, and Love as its mantra. A group of approximately 25 saints, with their children, were the first to rally to the call from Pastor Smith. They were characterized by their Love for others and commitment to serving the Lord, by serving those inside and outside the Kingdom. 

We are part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., an enduring Pentecostal Organization which embraced a wide spectrum of churches in the 1910's. The PAW Organization adheres to Apostolic Doctrine, and was among the first in North America to embrace The Oneness Doctrine, baptizing in the name of Jesus. We are active participants in the Texas State Council of the PAW, Inc.

The Lively Stone Church has served communities on the east and west sides of San Antonio, Texas. Auxiliaries that include Christian Education, Women of Excellence, Ministers and Deacons Wives, Brotherhood, Youth Ministry, Music Ministry (Choir), and Evangelism are rounded out by Praise Dancers, Ushers and other ministries of help to undergird and support the Pastor and his Ministry Team. We are striving to fulfill the VISION until JESUS returns for a GLORIOUS CHURCH without Spot or wrinkle.
